My fish's tail got cut off?

I have a long finned rosy barb that got caught under the plastic coral a few days ago. We thought he was dead, but my mom got him out and he moved to the corner. He moves around sometimes, and his gills are still moving. he will be 3 this March.No bones got damaged, hopefully, but the flowy tail fins got sniped. We have ben doing our best to keep the tank clean, and the other fish, a tetra, is not botherin him.
 
I'm so sorry. It will probally be okay, but I would suggest a vet coming to see it.
 
THAT'S SO SAD.
I would honestly go talk to your vet, and bring him with you. Perhaps he can get a fake tail attachment?
