i have a 2 gallon fish bowl with a bamboo shoot(live) and one artificial plant in it and some pebbles.i bought a goldfish for it.it was fine for like 4 days but then i changed water and next morning the fish had died. This was probably due to changing water soon but then i read that once a week changing 100% water is fine.I bought again one goldfish and it survuved for 3 weeks with a complete water change once a week for two weeks but then this weekend i changed water and after 30 minutes it was floating on top.I dnt know what i am doing wrong since the water becmes totally murky when i change it so think it warrants a 100% change.I even put a drop of dechlorinator. Please suggest what i am doing wrong since its really heartbreaking that they die again n again

What Maddie says is completely right. 2 gallons is tiny for a betta let alone a gold fish that should be kept in at least a 30gallon. There is no bacteria breaking the bad stuff down, no filter to clean and it sounds horrible. I don't want to be mean but you should learn how to care for animals or never try again!

1st. 2 gallons is way to small for any fish!
2nd. a bowl is a nasty way to keep fish as they dont get enough oxygen
3rd. goldfish not only are far to big for such a small bowl they produce alot of waste hence why ur fish are dying because they are getting amonia poisoning
4th. you should never to 100% water changes, although i doubt ur bowl has been cycled or even have filtration.. if you want your fish to live u need atleast a 30 gallon tank with a filter!

tiniest goldfish need at least 20 gallon cycled fish tank with filter, and heater. You got 2 gallon glass of water with ton of plants to make volume even smaller. You have no idea on how to change water properly. I wonder how your fish survives full 3 weeks. It must be a miracle.
