My Fish Won't Eat! What Should I Do?

A few days ago i bought 1 bristlenose catfish, a few days after i bought some algae discs or him but he doesn't even notice them and they jsut get water logged and fall appart, what should i do to make him eat?

there isn't much algae for him to eat in the tank.
 
Im going to agree with catx to drive the point home and validate her post. New fish can take a bit to eat sometimes, esp. since pleco's are more active at night. He actually might be eating just not when your watching. After you turn off the lights he will come out and munch on something.

My pleco eventually has gotten to the point now where he will come out and suck on an algae waffer in the middle of the day in the light.

What all are you feeding him? Try the algae waffers if he isnt eating anything else. Thats what i feed mine and he loves it.
