THANKS ( i need answer ASAP! )

Cycling a tank for a week will not help you in any way.

You need to Fishless cycle anywhere between 3-6 weeks before adding fish. In one week, there is simply not enough time for beneficial bacteria to grow and colonize to accommodate the fish waste that will be introduced into the tank.

I have to go right now and will finish this, but please check out the links and research Fishless cycling. And no, the tank should be cloudy for a week or so. Make sure to get testing kits for AMmonia, Nitrite and Nitrate and test every 2-3 days.
