And what kind of decor? If its fake coral and your fish is sleeping on it, then take the decor out and put in some plant...like cryptocorn, my fish love it!
And also, ick meds should be used at half strength and fish are going to lay around, my fish did then gradually they got back their spunky attitudes, so don't worry
and heres some advice on not having ick
do weekly water changes,
feed your fish how much you know they can consume instead of putting in an ammount you know they could never consume!
Change your filter thing every 3-4 weeks
clean the tank out every 2 weeks
Keep fish happy with loads of hiding places and plants (even fake)
Give your fish treats (like bloodworms) (if they're tropical fish like bettas, tetras, danios, rasboras, ect...goldfish and koi should not have bloodworms because the crude protein makes them bloat up and possibly die)
and keep the temp around 79 degrees (for tropical fish goldfish should have it anywhere from 70-74 for best results) (note: goldfsih grow faster and bigger in warmer water, and the temp should not go under 65 degrees cuase goldfish are continent at 65 and up, as long it does not exceed over 80 degrees)
and with that in mind, i've only had one outbreak of ick...
