my fish isnt moving...?

i bought a fish today and its only been about 5hrs since he's been in the tank and he's not moving. in the shop they were all flying about the tank but its not now. whats wrong with him?
if this is any help i dont have a filter.

what kind of fish is it? its possible that it was a group fish and it was scared or not motivated to move

doesn't the filter add air to the tank so it can breathe?

ur not suppose to put it immediatly in the tank... supose to keep it in the bag and let its temperature settle..
