My fish is lying on the bottom of the tank?

Okay so I got home from school, and my fish was lying on the bottom of her tank. I watched her for awhile, and still no movement. I thought maybe she was sleeping, but I thought I should check. So I got my fish net for when we clean the tank. And I got her in there, and she didn't move. Now usually when she is sleeping I do that and she moves. But when I did it again she still did NOT move. I am worried that she might be dead. Can someone help?

If the eyes look different & scary looking to you and if she don't move when you poke her, then she's definately dead.

This doesn't mean its dead (yet)... it means shes dieing or is stunned.... usually when fish die they float to the top.... this can also mean she is sick.....
