My fish have ick. If I only give them half the dose will they still get cured?

One new fish that I got gave ick to every single one of my fish in my 10 gallon tank. So I bought the ick remover stuff. The directions say "Add one drop per gallon daily until cured for all fish except those of the Tetra group. For Tetras, add one drop for every 2 gallons."

I don't have a separate tank to put my tetras in. If I put the full 10 drops in will it kill my tetras? If I only put 5 drops in is that enough to treat my other fish?
 
I do not know the exact answer. My best advice is to treat according to the tetra directions. You might have to change the water and treat a few additional time beyond what the directions say but then you are not killing off your tetras.
