a few weeks ago my two clown loaches decided to swim down the undergravel filter tube (it is not in use) and under the base plate. The base plate holds the gravel a centimeter above the bottom of the tank. Normally this filter would draw water through the filter....but i dont use it so there is just an empty hole poking out of the gravel. My clown loaches have swam inside it! how do i get them out?? they are still alive because i hear them sometimes moving the gravel around, and they accasionally pop out into the water....
