My Fish Has An Extremely Bloated Belly?

I know he is not a girl and there are no other Mollies in my tank.
My 17 month old male Molly has been extremely lethargic the past 3 days. He refuses to eat [[which is not like him at all]] and he sits at the bottom of the tank all day. His stomach is extremely bloated looking; it's probably twice the normal size. The other fish in my tank seem to be fine. Their water is clear and no changes have been made to the tank.
What could be wrong with my Molly and how can I treat him?

If his eyes are bulgy, he probably has dropsy. Check if his scales are "pine coning" (this is easiest to check from above.) Pine coning is when the scales stick out from the fish's body, making it look like a pine cone. If your fish is really fat from dropsy, the disease has probably already done permanent damage to the liver, so it is best to euthanize the fish before the disease spreads.

If the fish does not have pine coning scales or bulgy eyes, it is probably constipated. The only cure for this is to starve it for two days. I know this sounds cruel, but it's the only way to save your fish. (You can starve it by keeping it in a net during feeding time, or by moving it to a different tank.)
