He is a fantail goldfish. He has an exterior cut, meaning the cut inside going inside, on the side of his belly. It looks if it is a scab and one of its scale just peeled off. The size is probably 2mm in diameter. Is he going to be ok? Should I treat him with epsom salt to relax him or add some aquarium salt?

aquarium salt should be good as well as some stress coat well help the cut heal in no time!
hope that helps(:

A small amount of aquarium salt could help and some stress coat conditioner. Be careful with the salt tho. Not more than what is required for your tank size. I believe it 1/2 teaspoon per gal (predissolved) to start. Salt never evaporates so you wouldn't have to add more unless you did a water change.

Do you know where the injury cane from? How long have you had the fish? Most fish will heal fast. Within a week or two there should be a noticeable difference. They will grow back missing scales and fins as long as the water is clean and they are stress free.

Definitely add the aquarium salt. That pretty much works as an antiseptic. If hes not bleeding much or a lot then he should be fine.
