I have a tank with 3 tiger barbs, 2 african dwarf frogs, (well the clawed ones) and one little sucker fish. I had my water tested at Petco a few days ago, and they told me the water was fine, but wait another day for it to settle to the correct temp. So I waited 2 days and then bought the above mentioned fish/frogs. One day after they had been in the tank, I found one of the tiger barbs dead on the bottom of the tank!
the temperature is right, they have been fed (but not overfed) and the water quality is fine.
Why did this fish die?! He and the other 2 were perfectly fine yesterday, swimming around in a group and eating like normal. I came home tonight and found him dead!
So what should I do now? Should I change the water...? If so how much? And should I wait before I put a new fish in?
