i recently went to the fish store and got 3 more glass cats to add to my 2 and 4 pencil fish. before i put them in my tank i put them in a small bowl because i wanted to siphon the tank first. but that night, we had guests so i planned it for tommorow. the next day i saw that one glass cat was dead and had a red bloddish mark on it. though when i got it it was a little red but so light that i didin't notice it, and it was in a tank with ryukin goldies. so i siponed the tank and put the fish in the it. that same day a pencil fish died, which i thought was cause of the barbs. the next day 2 other died. then i got the same bowl and put the barbs in it so i could sell them to the store. an hour later i saw that only 1 was left! both of them had jumped out and were dead on the floor. then the rest of the pencils died. and day after day a fish would die! first the rest of the pencils, then 3 of the glass cats, then 1 bala shark which i had for almost a year, then that last barb died and then my male platy and then another glass cat!!!! its a catastrophe! am i cursed or something?? well im not a supersticious kind of person but have i been cursed by killing those barbs??? or is it the water? just to note that when a few died i paniced and poured 2-3 drops of disenfectant in the water. was it because of that?
