My First Bike- i'm going purchase a new bike. Need help?

Hi i want to purchase a bike my height is 5'7'' and weight is 55 kgs and i want a bike with less weight. i had options like splendor plus or bajaj platina or xcd. but i need a self start. but i beleive that splendor plus won't have a self start. Can the herohonda show room give self start after paying money for self start?
 
How about instead of saying "bike" say motor bike.
The word "bike" been around longer than a motorcycle...what gives them the right to call them a bike?
