My fiance is stationed in South Carolina whereas our son and I currently live in Mass. About 2 months ago I lost my job due to cut backs and havent been able to find another one. I have applied everywhere I am qualified for and still nothing. I cant move down to where my fiance is because the military wont pay for the move or housing because we are not married. He has looked at so many apartments in the area down there but no one will give him one. The thing is he doesnt get paid much at all and well I barely have enough for this coming months rent. His pay is all screwed up to where he is only receiving half of what he makes and it takes forever for them to fix it. On top of everything my son who is 3 hasnt had health insurance for over a year because the marines are still pushing the paper work so they say.
I was wondering if there were any programs or assistance for someone is my situation? I am in desperate need of help
