My fiancée broke off the engagement after I asked her to sign a pre-nup, am I better...

...off? I'm blessed with a father who acquired several properties through out the years. My father is still alive, it's not an inheritance I have, my father signed 2 houses, both in upper-class neighborhoods under my name. But my father always told my brothers and me that he worked hard so he could give those properties for us, and his grandchildren. He insists we take care of them.

I sold one of the houses, and with the money, I created a trust-fund SPECIFICALLY for my future children. I wanted my fiancée to sign a pre-nup. In short, the pre-nups clarifies that in case of a divorce, she would NOT keep the house, and she would NOT get money from the trust-fund UNLESS we had children.

My father worked 30 hard years to acquire all the properties he signed over to my brothers and me. My father worked so hard thinking of his children, and his future grandchildren. I think I'm within my right to do everything I can to protect my father's interests.

My fiancée broke off the engagement after I asked her to sign the pre-nup, am I better off?
