My favourite film featuring the lottery has to be Sensations. The story of an american hustler and a hooker who fight over a six million dollar winning lottery ticket. Their winning ticket had his and hers numbers which were, 2 5 16 19 27 28 and 11 16 27 29 36 46 giving them 10 selections. The perm gave them a chance of a small prize but they won the lot. It has not worked for me yet but I enjoyed the film.

I loved the Irish Film Waking Ned. very much fun.
I liked "It could happen to you" with Nicolas Cage and Bridget Fonda.
It a typical rom-com film about a New York cop who doesn't have a tip for a waitress so offers her the choice of coming back later with a tip or she can take the chance on his lottery ticket - if he wins he'll give her half.
It is one of those movies that is very slushy but always makes me smile and go awwwww
