Throughout elementary - high school I dealt with many learning disabilities & an ongoing depression that made school hard for me so I considered giving up. My father promised me all throughout middle & high school that he would pay for my college once I got there. After my parents got divorced, my father got re-married. My depression came back again. My father's attitude towards me changed & he became more and more spiteful. Him and his wife bought a million dollar house together mean while my mother filed for bankruptcy and is struggling to pay for my school.
My father's wife told me to get a job & go on student loan & convinced my father to no longer pay child support, so the payments stopped. Now I do have a job, but I only work about 4 hours per week because I just cannot focus on school and a job at the same time. what hurts me most is the fact that my father called me yesterday to tell me that he just cam back from a week vacay to to Bahamas... so in other words, while me and my mother are struggling to pay for my school, he's chill axing on a resort.
Yeah I think I originally had a question, but now it's lost somewhere in my rant.

Before you guys keep on accusing me of being a brat and feeling sorry for myself, Let me explain that I am trying to do my best at school & my mother supports me all the way. The problem is that my father never really believed that I would do well this is why he is refusing to pay for my college. I'm a special needs student & I found that working more than those hours a week really took away from my school.
By the way, I'm 18 and my father was ordered to pay child support up until I turn 23.
Well I guess I forgot to leave out the fact that he has 10 other children with other women that were also left to fend for themselves after he soaked up their resources. You lot are so quick to judge.
