On January 1 my car was wrecked. Its in my name but my grandpa is a co signer. The insurance is not in my name. But i make my car payments and i have since i have had the car which has been about a year. Well the car is still in the shop waiting to find out if it is totaled. My "family" is trying to trade my car in to get my mom a new car. But im not going to sign off on it and they still say they can do it. Is there anything i can do? And can they trade my car in without me signing for it?

The car has been checked out once already now they are taking it apart at a shop to make sure no damage has been made to the uni body.
