Okay, my family is a bit country - ish, and my parents really don't care at all what people think about us. So one day, we went to a Siamese restaurant, where people say "Sawadeekap" and such things. Anyway, we sat down and called the waitress. Well, they were all busy and I didn't really mind waiting. Then a few minutes later, my mother started to whine loudly. I told her to calm down, but she kept complaining. Suddenly, she sat on the chair with one foot on the chair(I don't really know the term for this sitting position). She looked like a gangster mother, and everyone started to stare at us. Then my parents stood up, walked to the kitchen and called the manager and finally, the waitress came. But she forgot her pen and bill pad, so she walked to the podium and my father yelled at her to come back. I was so embarrassed. A there was a family who was celebrating birthday party and my mother said out loud "What a noisy family!" They all turned to us and shook their heads. Then when the waitress came back, my mother said "Oh, so now it's our turn?" and we ordered some foods. After the waitress served the foods, as she was just gonna walk away, my father yelled at her and pulled her apron just to ask where to pay the bill. I was like "Omg, of course we pay at the counter!" Then, we paid the bill and walked out, but I was seriously embarrassed. I don't want to go to that restaurant anymore. Whataya think? Was I overacting and what should have I done?
