A couple of years ago I moved from North Carolina to California to live. My family back home complains that I never call them. On the contrary I never receive any phone calls from them either. I'll be honest to say that I don't call home as often as I should, but why should I be the one who makes the phone calls every single time? I don't understand why it is the young person's responsibility to call relatives when they themselves don't return the favor. Sometimes "I'd" like to receive a phone call from my family every now and then.
I have an aunt who lives 2 hours away from me. I've gone to see her twice in the 2 years I've been out here. Has she come down to see me as well? Nope. She wonders why I don't come to see her, or call her sometime. What gives? Am I missing something here?
