my face won't tan. can my acne medicine be the problem?

I come from a spanish background so i tan very very easily. and this past year i have been using the prascion face wash and the ziana topical gel. both of these where dermatology recommended to me. i use ziana on my T zone and when i tan it, it just turns red. thats fine with me though and i already know why it turns red. but I'm wondering since i use the prascion all over my face and its progressively gotten whiter if that could be the cause. please help I'm in desperate need the more i go outside the more tan my body get and the whiter my face gets... which means i will be needing to put on excessive amounts of bronzer on my face to even looks the slightest bit all one skin tone. and when i say my face is bad white, I'm not joking lol
