My BF doesn't think there's anything wrong with this but when i last went to my recruitment centre this is what happened (well the gist of it).
(after brief introductions)
Soldier at the desk: Now when you join the army we will help you better your way of life, we will give you driving lessons any education you need, you will be paid an excellent amount of money and you will see the world.
Me: what about if i die?
Him: We will make sure that doesn't happen, And if you do go to War, you will have an home waiting for you when you get back
I was 16, no money and that was the only thought on my mind, but because of they way he answered my question i decided i didn't want to fight in an army that would play on peoples need for money. How can people allow 16 y/o's to join when they only get told about the benefits if you don't die. i know there's a war going on but surely you should be reminded that you will go to war and you will probably die?
How can my bf say that this is the right way to go about it?
