My ex is mad at me and thinks im a b----, should i talk to him?

i didnt want him falling for me again, and i knew he was because he would write love poems on fb, so i started putting little/no effort in our conversations and i told him to move on. he hasn't talked to me since (this was a few days ago) and he's told everyone that im a b*tch and he's fine w/o me. Im thinking about talking to him though because he's like my best friend. How long should i wait till he cools off? Should i bring up him calling me a b*tch? or should i just ignore the whole situation and let him have his hope?
 
nah if he thinks your a bit@h then ignore him and be one. give him a reason to think that. maybe then he will realize wow she wasn't being a bit@h and he just might come around.
 
I would wait it out. But if it concerns you that badly then the next time you see him ask what his problem was when he called you a bitch. I would give him two to three weeks max
