Pardon the stupidity, but I have never been in this situation before. I went to go into work a couple of days ago, and it was shut down with chains on the door. Company filed bancruptcy, and the court shut them down. My question is, will I still get my paycheck that is owed to me for two weeks? I know that the court will be paying the employees since the company is shut down, so I'm sure it will be greatly delayed in getting to me. Has anyone ever dealt with this before? I can't think that the court would allow all of the employees across the united states that worked for this company to go without getting paid. Any input would be appreciated for my peace of mind.
