...happened and is it driveable? 2002 Ducati Fuel tank collapsed can we fix it or do we need to buy a new one can someone help out
 
Like, you mean, imploded? I don't know much about Ducatis, but if it has a fuel pump it seems like your tank vent got blocked and the fuel got sucked out but there was no air getting in to displace it, so, crunch. You need a new one.
 
If what Steve Y said happened, use a high pressure air hose to pop it back out. If that is what happened, what a sorry excuse for a tank. Now if you dumped the bike and it was crushed, that's what you need to say, chrushed, not collapsed. Either way, be aware that an sharp kink in the tank material has the possibility of leaking, even if the dent is popped out.
