My dog's tail is so covered in fleas, he's chewing it off. I don't have $ to get him...

Everybody has financial problems but if my dog was chewing his tail off he would be at the vets for crying out loud. I would find the money. By the way over the counter garbage doesn't work and is toxic. I'm sure you've tried some and know what I'm talking about.

I am having financial problems right now. I find it quite objectionable that you would just assume something about me. I do not appreciate it.
 
Please take him to the vet-do what you can. Your dog is suffering, Can you imagine having bugs bite you over and over to where you are constantly itching and scratching so hard it rubs the skin off. Seriously take him in and make payments to the vet or something!
 
Get some flea treatment to spray on him immediately, then bathe him in a medicated shampoo, then spray again. Get some of the flea treatment for the dog bed and the house too, as the fleas will have spread to the surroundings. This is urgent if you don't want vet bills.
 
Wash the dog yourself. Make the water deep enough to immerse the tail in to drown the fleas. Then go get some Advantix flea prevention for the poor dog.
