My dog's skin is peeling, he just got groomed and I just noticed it ? what could it be?

they get a bath once a month or once every 2 months
He scratches now and then. He has no fleas or ticks. He got groomed this saturday and his hair is very low. What could this peeling be??

I will take him to the vet this saturday. I am very worried, please help

I am feeding him natural balance
 
Did you groom him, or a groomer, maybe they put a shampoo that is irratating to them, or they put some kind of perfume so he can smell better, if it's serious you should sue the grooming company you took him to, and take him to a vet also.
 
The shampoo the groomer used may be too strong or the wrong PH for his skin. Next time ask that the groomer use a baby shampoo.

You can brush him to loosen the flaky skin & use a wet paper towel to remove what you have brushed up.
 
It's nice you care for your pet and are taking it to the vet. It may be because maybe you bathe him/her to often. When you give a dog a bath to often it causes skin irritation. Good Luck!
