I brought two kittens home on last Saturday and my dog, 6 years old labrador, whines whenever I am playing with the kittens =( It's not like if I have play with her less since I got the cat. I will still go out and play with her or walk around the house just like before. She isn't aggressive to the kittens; in fact, she never bark at them. I think the only difference is that she is out side in the yard and kittens are in the house. But, I can't let her in, her fur will be a problem in the house especially when no body can clean the house during the week! I never have any other pet except hamsters and mouse after my family bought her. She didn't pay much attention to the rodents, but why to the cats?
Does any body know how let the dog stop whining? I told her no, but she whined louder!
Please help
Thanks!
Yeah I know you all owned a dog, and to get rid of the fur you use vacuum cleaner! But, I am not sure if you owned a labrador! When we kept her in the house, she was a puppy. My house has to be cleaned twice a day, the only reason she has to go out during the day now is because she is many times bigger than she used to be and that shed too fast! 5 min after you vacuum the floor you can get a hand full of fur from floor! I can definitely make many fur mats if my house is cleaned once a week with my dog in the house! Brushing the dog doesn't help either! It's like if her fer never stop falling. And no two kittens are not even the size of my dog's head, so they can't shed as much as my dog...
