Is it weird when my dog just randomly starts licking a random part of my body and doesn't stop until that particular body part is coated with his saliva?

Here's an example: I'm laying on the couch with him laying next to me. Then he just starts grooming himself, then he transitions from his arm to my arm. I mean he's licking his arm/paw/whatever and he moves to what ever part of me is closest to the part he was just grooming.
