I have a 10 year old Jack Russell who's been just a great dog until recently. He would growl at me or my husband occasionally when he was tired but it gradually started getting worse when I had my baby. We did everything we were suppose to before we brought the baby home and introduce her to the dog. He was in love with her first couple of months but now that she is crawling everywhere he cant stand her. But mainly he completely changed with me. For example - I'm cooking in the kitchen and he is in his bed and all of the sudden he runs towards me barking, growling and showing his teeth, I know he would bite me as he tried it few times. He does this all day long. Outside he is completely normal and fine. I feel trapped in my own home, pretty much anything I do makes him mad! He is the most sensitive dog I know, he loves people. I had him neutered just few months ago to see if it changes his behavior but it didnt work. It seems like he became territorial over time but I cant break him neither can my husband(who he still respects more than me). I really dont know what to do anymore and I'm worried that he will hurt my baby. We dont want to give him away but that's probably our only option.
