A man walks his dog off lead along the back of our fenced in garden. His dog comes up to the fence all teeth and growls and sounds quite viscious our dog responds the same way with hackles up. We've put a stop near the end is now about 4' from the fence and the off lead dog has started to dig his way in, , we've blocked up the holes so far but this dog is quite persistant and all the time my dog is going crazy at the same time. my question is if this dog gets in and my dog kills it (because by the sounds going on he will) who is at fault? the owner just watches, makes no effort to control this and as it happens twice daily so it seems to be ok with him
I stand outside when my dog is on his zip line and he's on it just so he can do his Biz, he is NEVER unsupervised there are fox/badger travel paths etc in our garden which I don't want to block up, we have the line just so he doesn't chase anything and run off, he is a patterdale, if you know the breed then you know he is not an off the lead kind of dog not ever. we always check first for walkers with other dogs, I've just stood outside (without the dog) and give the nasty dog a good squirt with the hose as he got his head under the fence LOL, I'm starting to set an alarm for his walking times and told the owner that tomorrow I'll squirt him aswell if he doesn't control his mutt
