...Christmas without going broke? It's almost Christmas, and our dog (he's a cockapoo) that my family has had since I was 5 (I'm 13) has pancreatitis. I really want him to get through Christmas, but he's in a lot of pain, hasn't eaten in 4 days, is on an IV for fluids, and might starve to death soon. Also, my parent are taking him home tomorrow (12/22), so we're hoping that he'll get better when he's at home and comfortable. If he's in a lot of pain, we're going to put him down. I really want him to get through Christmas, and we're going to have him on painkillers when we bring him home. Any ideas on if he'll get a little better being at home and maybe eat, or if he'll be in to much pain to make him suffer for 3 more days? I absolutely love him to death, and me and my family would hate to have to put him down (especially since he's only 8), but we'll do what we have to to make sure he's not horrible pain. Any ideas would help, especially if you know from experience. Thank you so much!
