I got my leopard gecko about a month ago and she's pretty young, not tiny, yet not an adult. I took her out of her terrarium (a 35 gallon, long shallow tank) like I do every night and when I put her on my bed to go take the top off the tank to put her away for the night, my dog, an 11 year old springer spaniel got a little curious and was getting really close sniffing her. My dog didn't bite her or lick her, just smelled her, and my gecko was making this wierd really loud hissing noise. I pulled my dog away and held my gecko for a bit until she calmed down (she's very tame in my hands) and stopped squirming a bit, then put her under her rock hide thing. I also put a few mealies in there cause I felt really bad and wanted to give her a treat. But now I'm kind of worried...my little gecko be okay?
My dog got a little curious with my leopard gecko..is she going to be okay?
