My dog accidently ate one persimmon seed that I left in a paper towel plus some persimmon skin.
From what I've read persimmon seeds can cause obstructions and inflammation of the intestines.
Will she be ok without going to a vet? How high are the chances that the seed will cause inflammation?
I don't live that close to the vet and I can't drive plus it they are all booked for the day tomorrow. I phoned them and they said she should be fine but I don't feel comforted. They said to phone them again if she shows symptoms of obstruction or has really bad diarrhea.
I'm still worried though, has anyone had this experience?
