My dog ate fish food?

I have just got back from my horseback riding when I noticed that one of my bottles of gold fish food was gone. Then I found it lying on my bed and my Chihuahua had somehow got it off the shelf and opened it - and ate it all. I mean every last bit.

Will goldfish food hurt a dog?
My chihuahua isn't really tiny she's about 5-6 lbs.
 
Well, you have a very small dog, so it could give him/her a stomach ache or indigestion problems. I have given my dog some fish food just because he was so curious, it doesn't do anything.
 
Fish food is just grinded up dry fish. Your dog wont be harmed, my cats always eat my tubs of fish food and they always seem fine.

if your worried though them get a second opinion from a professional
 
Has he started to swim yet?

He probably will be OK, but try to be more careful with the fish food after this!!!

you need to watch him/her sence it is a little dog i would calll your vet just to make sure because it is very light i dont know why but just call you vet just to make sure sence you can they it is free
