my dodge neon oil light keeps coming on when i stop, but never stays on?

Sounds like low oil pressure which could be caused by a defective oil pump.
 
You may need a new oil sending unit. Very common. Do not put this
repair off. Oil pressure is nothing to mess with. It's a cheap fix also!
