I have dehydrated discs in my back, and a kidney stone that has been hanging around for a while. I am seeing a Urologist in a few weeks for the kidney stone, and i go to weekly Physical Therapy for my back pain. I am also overweight, which puts more pressure on my back, but i am working on that and have lost 15 pounds the last month.
My doctor has prescribed me Oxycodone at first. It helped with the pain, but was making me really sick to my belly. So i asked about trying something else. He put me on something called 'Nucynta.' I had never heard of it, but i had to sign for it like i did the Oxycodone.
Anyone ever try this before? Or, do you have any advice or experience you can share?
I am on day 1 of it. So far, it helps with my back, but makes me feel a little tired.
