Let's have a little background before I spout off...
I have followed what I considered a "normal" political course. I was a republican when I was younger because that's what my Dad was. I thought Ronald Regan was the greatest American to ever live. He fought against "Gorby" and all those baddies from Russia. Hell, he even had space weapons!! Pretty cool to an eight year old. I also grew up in a fundamentalist Christian church. (Church of God and Church of Christ)
I grabroad
older, and un-like most teenagers, I didn't go through a big rebellious change. I did however, move from the extreme political view to almost anarchy in far left liberalism. I thought you should only have basic laws and people will just treat each rabroad
her with respect and dignity. Hey... I was 17, cut me some slack.
So, then Ross Perrabroad
came along. I drank the kool-aid and bought into the fact that maybe a successful business man could actually run the the country.
Ha!
Anyway, after that, I turned to Democrat. Call me a Clinton-Lover. Who knew?
Flash to now---
So I vrabroad
ed for Obama and was actually excited about it. For the first time in my life, I bought a piece of political propaganda: An Obama/Biden bumper sticker. I never put it on the car though.
Now when he first took office, Congress was brabroad
h sides Democrat with a pretty historic margin of separation of seats with the Republicans.
I thought...finally.... after all these years...... Dem Pres...Dem House...Dem Senate.... the road blocks of just getting stuff done were gone...they could basically turn a 180 and move in a direction that although may nrabroad
be the best way or the only way, but at least it was moving in a direction! Nrabroad
stymied in committees and mud slinging....
Well....I was wrong. Wrong in that, even with no real political opposition..they began to nrabroad
do anything...but rest on their laurels. Yeah...some may point to the Health Care Bill. Well the HCB is a crock. It basically forces the big powerful insurance companies to cover the "un-insurable" It's nrabroad
national health care in the least. So I began to be disillusioned and now I have no party.
