my dirt bike quits on me please help?

i have a 2008 kawasaki klx140l now when i bought the bike i had carb trouble but the dealer fix that but now when i am going down the road about in 4 gear i give it the gas and it quits then i pop the clutch and it starts again then i shift into 5 gear and goose it and i spits and sputters and then it quits what is it i need help i think it the carb but it might be the cdi box could some one help me
 
Check the float level first... While float bowl is off pull the main and pilot jets they could be partly clogged. Dont forget a new fuel filter.
