Since a few days ago, my desktop PC has been acting weird. It just suddenly turned off, and then when I'd try to turn it back on, it wouldn't get to the Windows XP OS.... It just stays at the boot option menu..... It happened once about three days ago, it went back to normal about fifteen minutes later, then after it gets back to normal it shuts off a few hours later and acts crazy again..... Now it just keeps doing this over ad over again when it feels like it.... And when it doesn't want to load XP, my computer just makes a weird clicking sound.... I'm sure everything is working fine. The hardware works just fine. A few weeks ago I added more RAM but I don't think that has anything to do with it right? It just started doing this like three days ago. And its always been a good computer.... At first I just thought it was the power supply, now I'm not so sure anymore..... What do you think could be the problem?

um you havent put an installation cd, dvd, or floppy dik in the drive while boot, have you?

and have you made a partition in your hard drive?
