her VERBAL and NON-VERBAL scores...? I was wondering if any of you could possibly interpret these results. I have emailed the psych who gave me the results, but I am severely disturbed by them, and would like a little bit more information. Especially considering that my daughter shows absolutely no signs of a disability.

Her CSI score (I am guessing this is the NONverbal) was a 107.
Her Verbal score was a 68. This falls in the extremely low area. They did not give me a full IQ score.

This disturbs me because my daughter is fuctioning above grade level in all areas, and is more than a year above grade level in reading. She was being tested for the gifted program at school. Her Achievement score on the WIATT was in the 94th percentile. Her GRS Cumulative was in the 96th percentile, and her Motivation TScore was a 65. These 3 meet 3 of the 5 standards for the gifted program. Her PIP score was a 140...only needed a 150 to meet THAT standard for the gifted program. So I am finding it very hard to understand and justify that LOW Verbal IQ score >.<

I know my daughter can get very shy at times. I also know that she likes to take her time doing things. She is also being served for a speech impediment. She is also only 7 years old. Is it possible that these things caused the low score?

Anyone who could interpret this would be greatly appreciated for settling a poor mother's mind.

And don't worry....my daughter has NO clue about these anxieties running through my mind :)

Thanks!

(and yeah, I posted this in 2 forums, hoping to hit up on someone who could actually help me with this answer. Thanks :D)
