So, I want to get a real bike, not a POS walmart bike, and whenever I bring up some points, my dad does his annoying "WHEN I WAS A KID WE WERE STRONG ENOUGH TO GO UP HILLS" act. For example, he doesn't think the weight of the frame matters, he says wimps use light frames and tough kids can power up hills with some POS walmart frame. I also bring up the efficiency of a good bike, and he says I 'need the exercise' and that when he was a kid, it didn't matter. Sounds unenjoyable.
