My dad has been a state inspector for about 10 years, for about 8 years he's been passing car somewhat illegally. He just makes sure they have insurence then he types the info in and doesn't even bother to check the car, he just scrapes. The certificate and issue a new one. He's passed many cars with broken headlights, bad brakes and such, what's worse is the dps inspector knows he does this and doesn't care. I love my dad to death but he's putting a lot of lives in danger by letting these dangerous cars in the road, I'm thinking about reporting them, should I? And if so where should I report them to?
He owns his own mechanic business. He won't get fired. Most of his income comes from auto repairs anyway.

I already had a talk with him. He says he's busy with other automotive repairs and he doesn't have any time to check them, so he just passes them.
