L Lorna W New member Oct 18, 2010 #1 my dad is currently in the end stage of dementia.Recently i noticed his urine is very dark,low output,and his hands were swollen.What should i look for next?He is in the hospital.I don't want to see him like this it isn't him at all.

E erinl New member Oct 18, 2010 #2 Sounds like his kidneys may be failing. Call his Dr. and discuss this ASAP.
