So I am on a FIRST Lego League team. I am the oldest kid on the team, and my dad is the coach. AT home, my dad expects me to work on the robot, and build it, plan meetings with the other kids, pretty much give up my life to work on this. I have a busy after school schedule, yet he still expects me to do all this extra work. He will yell at me if I don't work on the robot, and then he will walk away, without telling me what he wants me to work on. Then, he walks back in about an hour later, even after I would go to him and ask for help, or tell him that I did not have the right supplies, and he goes "oh well, at least you tried" and walks away! I spend all this extra time doing things, and it is never right! He expects me to know all of the answers at the meetings, me to know how to do this, me to know how to do that, me to know how to do everything! I don't even really like being on this team, but I can't quit because he is the coach and the guy who started it in my school! He does the same thing for softball. I got a concussion, never wanted to play again, and he forced me to do it. I had to go to every practice and every game, no excuses (he has this same rule for the Lego team too) and go out in the yard for 30 mins at least and practice, but when I ask him to help me, he says "Maybe later" and never does!
