My dad had me sign his car title in 2003?

I need some advice my dad and i lived together in 2003. When he bought his car he made me sign the title in case he died. So we have not lived together since 2006.....and both of us forgot about the title of the car. He passed 9/15/09 In my security box i found the title of the car.....not remembering about the title clueless. My brother is the executor of the will but nothing states about the car so he takes it to his house we had a big fight of who is going to be left with the car. Now i have no vehicle so I need the car is it legally mine. I live in massachusetts I have not told him I have the title and it was signed over to me in 2003 my dad forgot also to tell him it has been several years I need some advice
