My dad got in a serious car accident and he needs a hip replacement, will he still

be able to bike after? My dad's hip shattered and they said he needed a hip replacement. My dad is an avid cyclist, so would he still be able to bike?

- also on another note: The hospital say's there was some trauma to the brain, what are the possibilities of him coming out of the medically induced coma and not knowing his family, children, etc...?
 
Can't really answer your 2nd question, but to your first probably, my dad seems to be doing MORE activity since he got his replaced (apparently titanium works better than bone ;o) )
