I had an iphone 2g but my dad gave me his 3g. I put my sim card in and connected it to my pc. It came up in itunes but it wouldnt sync nor did it say this iphone is connected to another library etc. When i tried restoring it, it tried to install iphone update but then it would say the connection timed out, no internet connection, check connection etc. But my internet is fine and connected!
HELP ME PLZ!!
PS The sim seems to work since i have recieved text messages but all my dads apps/music/contacts are still on there. Do i need a 3g sim card?
