My CRT HDTV has component input but not HDMI, am I fucked on next gen systems?

Yes you are fucked, your tv is out of date. If you want to use 1080p, you will need a Full HD TV with HDMI/HDCP.

Yeah, I know it's not top of the line, but I don't really care about 1080p. I just wanted to make sure any new game systems we might buy in the near future won't downscale to 480i/p on it.
